40,000 lb Gift to Arrive at the Oregon Food Bank Morning of the 26th

NETurf.com's 2nd Annual Great Holiday Food Drive raised over 40,000 lbs of food for donation to the Oregon Food Bank last week between the 19th and 22nd of December. The two semi trucks and trailers of food are scheduled to be delivered via Peninsula Truck Lines Thursday morning, the 26th to the Oregon Food Bank docks.

However, the biggest thanks go out to Tony Slyter, Store Director of the West Linn Thriftway for his generous help in gathering corporate donations totaling well over 25,000 lbs. Without his help, we would only be donating about 10,000 lbs (which is still 6,000 lbs over our goal for this year of 4,000 lbs!)

Now, keep an eye out for next year's 3rd Annual Great Holiday Food Drive at http://Food-Drive.com. Next year we are going to have to collect more than this year's 40,000 lbs!
